Posted by Peter Cavan - Xbox,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Expected out in September, Colin McRae Rally 04, the latest version of the popular rallying game, will have online capabilities. Players of the Xbox version of CMR04 will be able to post race times on specially created leagues, via Xbox Live. Times will initially be set by the developers but these should be quickly beaten by eager fans. The times will be split into a Month's Best Time and an All-Time Best, allowing players to pit themselves against worldwide competition. Codemasters will even be running competitions to find the game's best driver. There will still be an extensive offline mutliplayer experience, but Codemasters expect the online areas of its new title to be utilised thoroughly by CMR devotees and newcomerts to the series alike. The game will feature 20 cars and tracks set over 8 main locations.
