New Judge Dredd shots
We have some brand-new screenshots of Vivendi's new first-person shooter, Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death.

Vivendi are set to release a new and intense first-person shooter featuring the cult comic book hero Judge Dredd. In Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death, players must assume the role of Judge Dredd as he patrols the overcrowded streets of Mega-City One. This sprawling megalopolis is home to 400 million citizens, and as Dredd, you must treat each and every one as a potential criminal. In fact, it it was not for the group of law enforcers known as the Judges, the city would descend into complete anarchy. But now these Judges face a new threat - as vampires, the undead and and worse are let loose onto the unsuspecting population. Could this be the work of the Dark Judges?

Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death is playable cooperatively with a friend, as well as some multiplayer split-screen deathmatches on all consoles. These will include a number of frenetic new game-types that could only exist in the world of Judge Dredd, such as 'Block War' and 'Umpty Raid'. PC gamers will receive the same flexible multiplayer options and environments, plus LAN and internet play for up to 32 players.

Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death is being developed for all next-gen consoles as well as PC, and is planned to hit the streets this September. But until then we have these new PlayStation 2 screenshots for you.
