14th August 2003:
Is that a bear/bird in your pocket?
Banjo-Kazooie details have been released, including a bunch of screen shots.
Posted by Chris Barnett - Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe

As you have probably seen from out earlier news article, Rare are releasing Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge on the Game Boy Advance. But they have surprised us further by announcing that the game should be ready for release in September this year.

The game will take the main form of an isometric platformer with 3D sections to keep things varied. The game will span over six worlds featuring a total of over 60 trials and contests. In tradition to the series, Banjo and Kazooie will be able to combine to produce a variety of moves, over 20 in fact, to tackle the (30 types of) enemy.

As with most Rare games, the characterisation and feel will be the key factor to the game. And with all the features that made the N64 games so popular (except the 3D graphics, of course) in tact, this should be a must for fans. This is especially so as the story will lie in between Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie (which must still remain one of the worst titles ever, Rare!). New players cannot fail to ignore the quality of the screens and the legacy of Rare, so everyone should be happy.
