Worms shows its 3D
New shots for the GameCube version of Worms 3D show new slant.

Following our on going coverage of the 3D version of Worms, we have three new shots for the GameCube version, showing us that this will be more than a lazy update.

From looking at the shots it seems that you will be able to switch to a first person mode to aim weapons such as bazookas. This should increase the strategy involved with those 'pin point' shots. One shot shows a third person view of an aeroplane, hinting that direct control of planes will be possible.

Whilst these changes may sound minor to the untrained gamer, they will change the feel of the game considerably. This could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Updating for 3D seemed to give Metroid a new lifeline, let's hope it does the same for worms.
