Ubi Soft cleans up at the ECTS awards (ECTS 2003)
The annual ECTS awards have been announced, and Ubi Soft have managed to grab all of them bar one!

As well as giving the gaming press an opportunity to play the latest games, meet games publishers and generally have a good time, ECTS also has an annual award ceremony where they recognise the best games and companies of the show in various categories. This year there were five "Best of Show" awards up for grabs, and four of them went to the same publisher! Ubi Soft managed to grab Best Console Game, Best PC Game, Best Online Game and Best Overall Game, with the remaining award, Best Handheld Game, going to Nintendo. Here are the full award results, with the titles of the specific games that received each award:

Best Console Game: XIII (Ubi Soft)
Best PC Game: Far Cry (Ubi Soft)
Best Online Game: Everquest II (Ubi Soft)
Best Handheld Game: Advance Wars 2 (Nintendo)
Best Overall Game: XIII (Ubi Soft)
