Beyblade: Super Tournament Battle screens
Atari and Nelvana are bringing the popular animated television show Beyblade to the GameCube. First screens inside.

Atari have just released the first batch of screens for their upcoming GameCube title, Beyblade: Super Tournament Battle. For those of you who do not know - Beyblade is a hit animated television show, and players requires strategy to build and customise battle equipment in pursuit of becoming the World Beyblade Champion. 'We are thrilled to be working with one of the hottest properties in the world to bring the ultimate Beyblade experience to console,' said Nancy MacIntyre, for Atari's Beverly studio. 'The Beyblade video games will bring together the deep fantasy of the show with similar mechanics of the toy for a truly exciting interactive experience.'

'Beyblade interactive product is integral to our overall strategy for the property and we are delighted to collaborate with Atari,' said Sid Kaufman, of marketing, Nelvana. 'Atari has a rich history of translating hit properties into great games and we are excited to work with them to deliver an enormously powerful product line.'

We hope to bring you some more information on Beyblade: Super Tournament Battle very soon, but in the meantime we have the first batch of screens for you.
