Nightmare Screenshots
We have the two first screenshots from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas on the PlayStation 2, straight from the Tokyo Games Show.

Despite hardly any box office recognition, The Nightmare Before Christmas was a great film. No, make that, IS a great film as it stands the test of time better than most animation films.

It was one of the only films that appeals to both kids and adults, yet entertains both in equal measure. And it is really good news to find that the game will not just tell the story of the film, it will actually be a sequel to it (like the recent
Tron 2.0 on the PC). This means that any fans of the film will have to buy this.

The main character, Jack Skellington, has already featured in Kingdom Hearts along with some of the locations from the Tim Burton produced (though not directed) film, so it is great to see that the feedback that was given has warrented an entire game based upon them.

It is unclear about what type of game it will be or whether Tim Burton will be involved, but from looking at the shots it seems that the game is well on track to uphold the quality of the franchise.
