New Beanotown Racing Screens
Following the initial batch of shots, we have some much more impressive ones for you.

As we discussed in our original news article a few days ago, we are excited about a game based in Beanotown. The only concern was that the game did not look as if it was going to offer fans everything that it could. But the new collection of screenshots look much more promising.
The new screens show many more characters and their vehicles, as well as some good cartoon effects. There are actually comic-like words that pop-up when certain actions are performed (as in the upcoming XIII) giving the fans a feel that they are playing in the comics. The whole thing looks pretty solid too, particularly good when you see how wide the tracks are.
What is also worthy of a mention is the vehicles themselves. As some characters have never really had a vehicle, one has been invented for them in the game. This looks to have paid off as each of the vehicles looks suited to the respective character.
As we have yet to see the game in action or even play it, we cannot comment on how it moves or plays. But from these shots it looks as if it could surprise everyone, especially as there is a gap in the market for cartoon racers for the PC (Big Red Racing is probably the only one that sticks in the mind, and disc drive, long enough to even remember). In short, kids who have ever read the comic (that includes big kids) will find it hard to ignore this.
