EA look set to give the GameBoy Advance that Medal of Honor it's been waiting for...

Since the first Medal of Honour game was released on the GameBoy Advance the series has grown in popularity. This is not thanks to the GameBoy Advance version as it was not that good, in fact it was delayed for around three months due to the rather bad press it received.
But a company like EA has the courage to tackle problems and hopes to do the series justice by releasing a GameBoy Advance version that is on par (at least) with the high quality 'larger' versions. It plans to do this by changing the style of game entirely as FPS games are not really suited to the GameBoy Advance (despite, unusually, so many being released). Instead it will release a game that is mainly third person, from an overhead view but with set perspective first person sections.
Since a third person view allows much more of the environment to be seen the game will contain much more exploration, hence the infiltrator of the title. It will allow movement on foot, in a tank and in disguise to give some of the most varied gameplay on the console. The first person viewpoint sections appear to be like Operation Wolf, which is certainly a good thing and should be ideally suited to the GameBoy Advance (since the view is fixed, avoiding movement control).
Since the game will use the licence it will include locations ranging from Africa to the Western Front and authentic weapons (so it will be as authentic as the versions we have grown to love). It will in fact feature five missions that will be split into fifteen levels, jumping between action, tactical and sniping gameplay.
With a link up with the GameCube version of Medal of Honor Rising Sun (changing the GameBoy Advance screen into a real time map of the GameCube gameplay) this could be the game that all fans have been waiting for. In fact it should be good enough to win any gamer over, especially if the screenshots are anything to go by.
We will see if the game wins or loses the war when it is released in December.
