New Midtown Madness
The first batch of downloadable content is finally here.
Posted by John Grothier - Xbox - UK and Europe

Microsoft have just released the first batch of downloadable content for Midtown Madness 3. The first batch consistes of 4 original, unlicensed vehicles which include the Thrasher, the Ambassador, the Shopper and the R4000. The Thrasher is an Americian muscle car, the Ambassador is a stylish looking sedan - straight out of the 1930's, The Shopper is basically a shopping cart on wheels, and the R4000 is an original looking sports car.

The next batch of downloadable content is promised in just a few weeks, and it will consist of 10 new Blitz and 10 new checkpoint races for the Washington DC map. Then another batch will contain some more new cars, which will include the Furious, the Carica and the Lastkraftwagen. Another sports car, a sporty-looking coupe, and the Lastraftwagen is described as an 'eclectic' vechile that promises to make Tag and Stayaway games interesting. The last batch of downloadable content will be 20 new tracks for the Paris map, made up of 10 Blitz and 10 checkpoint races. The new content will also fix that annoying soundtrack bug that insists on playing your first music track over and over again.
