4am Entertainment have announced their newest project, an action RPG set in 2083 and supposedly having over 160hrs of gameplay. Players can choose one of 4 characters, each with their own personalities, skills and storylines. The "160hrs" figure comes from playing all of these characters, not just one. Each character has 2 endings, so 4am estimate that a single run through the game will take about 20hrs, which is about average for an action RPG.
You can choose a gun-wielding criminal, a psychic, a sword master with memory problems or a teenage cyber-hacker who built a robot to break out of jail. Pretty diverse, would you say?! Characters earn money throughout the game, which can be spent on new guns and items, or even new limbs. By the end of the game you might have a cyborg that contains more metal than flesh and blood.
The AI should be very diverse, and with CPU generated subquests the game should always be new and interesting, even after playing it for a long time. You can look at the 4 shots below, but the game isn't due for release until April of next year.
