Add-on For Dark Age Of Camelot
Wanadoo have announced a free-to-download expansion for their 3D MMORPG.
Posted by Peter Cavan - PC - UK and Europe

Dark Age Of Camelot is a fantasy 3D massively multiplayer online role playing game. It has sold over 140,000 copies in Europe, since its February 2002 release. And Wanadoo have now announced a new add-on for it, to be called 'Foundations'. It will be able to download for free from the DAOC website.

Foundations will add the ability to build one of four types of dwelling - villa, house, cottage, manor. Nearly everything about the house and its interior can be customised; there are over 320,000 combinations! Players can sell things through merchants outside their house, even when the player is offline. Artisans can use the dwellings to set up shop, and these habitats vastly upgrade the amount of storage space available to players.

A full install of Dark Age Of Camelot is required for the expansion to work, but for all fans of the series this should make a welcome addition to the already sizable options in the game.
