24th November 2003:
Christmas comes early for Xbox
A cracking games line-up for Microsoft's console this holiday.
Posted by John Grothier - Xbox - UK and Europe

Microsoft have announced that Xbox gamers will be spoilt for choice this coming Christmas. With 11 new Xbox-only titles for the holiday, 17 more by June 2004, means that Xbox owners now have around 350 games to choose from by the end of this year. With the announcement of a special new Christmas offer already available, gamers can now get an Xbox console, Halo, Midtown Madness 3 and a voucher for two months' free subscription to Xbox Live for only £139.99. With Xbox Live-enabled games like Project Gotham Racing 2 and Rainbow Six 3, there has never been a better time to get into Xbox.

"It's never been a better time to be an Xbox gamer," said Michel Cassius, of Xbox Platform and Marketing. "Some of the world's most wanted console games are available this Christmas - and they're only available on Xbox. These exclusives join an already-strong portfolio of titles, the breadth and depth of which is remarkable. Along with Xbox Live, the Xbox games portfolio shows why Xbox is the best-value video game system available today."

"Xbox Live is going from strength-to-strength," continued Michel Cassius, "Gamers who are already connected know this and with special Xbox Live trial offer vouchers included in selected Xbox Live-enabled games, offering two free months of Xbox Live gaming and a wealth of online games, even more gamers are going to get connected to online gaming. This Christmas, with Live-enabled franchises like Project Gotham Racing 2, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 and Top Spin on Xbox, online gamers have an incredible line-up of games to choose from."

The line-up of Xbox-only games this Christmas offers something for every gamer, with Project Gotham Racing 2, Amped 2, Top Spin, Voodoo Vince, Counter-Strike, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Links 2004, and the fantastic Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge - all available in time for the holiday.
