Sonic Comes Back to the PC
Sonic Adventure DX is coming to the PC soon.
Posted by Chris Barnett - PC - UK and Europe

After appearing in a director's cut of his original Dreamcast game on the GameCube, Sonic looks set to appear on the PC in a remake of the game.

Since Sonic Adventure DX is already an update, little can be done to improve it without changing the game entirely. So what Sega have done is enhanced the graphical resolution and the level of detail on everything. Since the game features 60 missions and six characters, there is no question that gamers will be getting value for money, especially if they have a PC capable of displaying it in all its glory.

The only question that we ask is how the lightening fast gameplay and dynamics will translate onto a keyboard, as most PC owners do not posses a decent gamepad. The only way to find out will be to play the game, which we should all be able to do early next year. It's just good to see Sonic living and breathing on as many platforms as possible as he is one of gaming's only characters that still delivers (there has never been a truly bad Sonic game).
