Posted by John Grothier - Xbox - UK and Europe Microsoft announced today that gamers can now get their hands on an Xbox and a copy of the fantastic Project Gotham Racing 2, for just £129.99. This Christmas bundle will be available from today. Project Gotham Racing 2 rewards players for racing with speed, style and daring, and features circuit-based racing through highly detailed city environments. Racers can choose from more than 100 of the hottest cars while speeding through the streets of 10 exciting cities, power-sliding around corners and accelerating through the straightaways before moving to a different venue. Players will also be able to race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, Germany's famous 14-mile-long track. Project Gotham Racing 2 is also takes advantage of Xbox Live and allows gamers to race against seven other players online for some fast and furious matches. For the first time, players using Xbox Live can also download 'ghosts' (replays of the best races) and race against them or learn from them, and take online challenges that are rotated monthly or even weekly. Downloadable content for Project Gotham Racing 2 is also expected soon.
