Koch Media have just release another stunning batch of screenshots of their upcoming space trading and combat simulation, X2: The Threat. Due for release on the PC in February 2004, Koch Media promise that X2: The Threat will redefine the PC space genre, taking it to new levels, offering superior graphics and a new way to 'experience' interactive gaming.
Though staying true to its predecessor, what makes X2: The Threat unique is the game's freedom of exploration and uninhibited style of game play. A first person space experience, that immerses the player in a dynamic, living, breathing universe, where every event and action has 'cause and effect' upon the entire gaming universe. Boldly go where no one has gone before, discover new worlds and life forms across countless sectors of space, as players can become either a trader, bounty hunter, pirate, miner or a strategic combination of them all. The choice of how the player experiences the X2 universe is up to them.
Stay tuned to Silicon Fusion for more on X2: The Threat as we get it, but in the meantime we have these stunning new screens showing off the beautiful X2 universe.
