Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe There have been game tie-ins with films for over a decade, now there looks to be a Tintsletown tie-in with a game. RSA, the company owned by Bladerunner and Gladiator director Ridley Scott and his Brother Tony are to create a live action trailer for Atari's up and coming sequel, Driv3r. In what has been termed a "convergence first" the three minute short film, titled 'The Gauntlet' will form a cornerstone of the advertising campaign for the game. Now whilst the plot is being kept secret, there is rumoured to be a series of vignettes for each one minute episode ready to hit the Driv3r website early next month, with the other two mini-episodes and their associated vignettes to follow once a month until the release of the game in March.
