Posted by Marc Hull - PC - UK and Europe The original Cossacks game was a tremendous success, and not only gained more pre-orders than Black and White but has sold over 500,000 units since its release. However, even if you didn't purchase the original game, you can still buy the latest add-on, Back To War, since it will not only integrate into existing versions of Cossacks, but will also function as a stand-alone title. Back To War's features build upon the already impressive list found in the original game, this time offering 100 new single-player missions and two new nations to play as or fight against; Switzerland and Hungary. The game will also feature a random terrain generator for when traditional game maps have been exhausted, and there's even a map editor allowing you to build your own scenarios. Also included is a bonus called 'Mod1' which is a fan-made map set, offering 30 new levels to play on. The multiplayer side of the game has also been improved for this update, with a new Automated Championship System generating online rankings and a special VIZOR mode that allows players to spectate battles over the Internet, gaining tips by watching experienced generals put their strategies into action.
