5th January 2004:
A new Schizm emerges.
Sequel to the massively popular puzzler, Schizm: Mysterious Journey. Schizm II: Chameleon takes you from orbit to the surface of a devastated planet.
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

There are three things in life that are certain. Death, taxes and sequels to anything that is popular.

Which in this case is no bad thing as Dreamcatcher Games gets ready to unleash the follow-up to Schizm: Mysterious Journey (aka Mysterious Journey: Schizm) from Polish developers Detalion. Welcome to Schizm II: Chameleon.

The story revolves around Sen, who wakes from cryogenic slumber to find that he is in a 'prison' space station high above a planet below and the station is in a decaying orbit. In days it will smash into the surface of the world it is orbiting, killing all aboard and anyone caught on the ground. Follow the plot as Sen makes it to Sarpedon and begins to unravel the mysteries of his incarceration and the fall of the civilisation of Sarpedon

Boasting forty locations in a set of stunning environments - backed by an integrated, atmospheric soundtrack, an almost unique blend of first person and puzzler and utilising the acclaimed Jupiter engine last seen in the well received No One Lives Forever 2, 'Chameleon' looks set to appeal to nearly everyone.

Out next month.
