Nifty blend of Real Time Strategy and Roleplaying game in an ever evolving fantasy universe, packed with armies and spellslinging heroes.

Another world s under threat from dark forces massing, each group of peoples desperate to keep themselves to themselves must unite to survive and the only bastion to really stand in the enemies way are the Battle Mages and the huge armies they can control.

Battle Mages looks to be that rarity, a nifty blend of tactical and strategy game mixed up with a hefty dose of roleplaying and originally designed fantasy elements. There is a vast selection of races that can be played, each with the usual plethora of strengths and weaknesses. In addition there are three schools of magic again each with their own specialities and features, each loaded with spells galore. Also in the line-up are a uniquely unpredictable plotline, a game world that even if the player ignores what is happening continues to live and evolve, a detailed battle system with AI that allows for 'bait' traps for your enemies, flexible tactics and the option of playing a pure caster character, a warrior; less skilled in the art of spell-work or the most feared combination a true warrior-wizard, the Battle Mage.

Published in the UK by GMX Media by agreement with Buka Entertainment Battle Mages is set for release this March.
