Posted by Chris Barnett - Xbox,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Jeremy Heath-Smith and Adrian Smith, the creators of Lara Croft have announced the formation of a new development company after waving goodbye to their gal after 7 years. The company will be called Circle Studio and will consist of 35 former Core employees. But instead of suffering from immediate 'developer's block' the company has already got projects in progress. They already have two prototypes and several plans for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. They also have a futuristic outlook as they have plans for the next generation in consoles (they will make games for Microsoft and Sony in their next console war). This is a breath of fresh air for gamers; with the recent closures of several mediocre developers. All we can say is that they need to prove that Lara is in the past by developing an original title soon (we don't need another third person exploration-adventure game, thanks) Chris Barnett
