Within beats a Metalheart.
Take six misfits, forge them into a fighting force to be feared and then go forth and fight for free rice pudding or something in Metalheart: Replicants Rampage.

Anyone who remembers Shadowrun on the SNES will feel at home with the look and feel of Metalheart. An isometric, turn based tactical RPG currently in development by Akella in Russia.

Metalheart comes with a huge game universe to explore and beat things up in but the, ahem, heart of the play is based around completing freely generated quests given out by a large number of NPC's, that inhabit this cyberpunk style world, each with a sophisticated AI to confront the player. Beyond this, things are a mix of the original X-Com game with it's isometric turn based play crossed with the aforementioned Shadowrun's level based advancement and shopping experiences to boost your misfits abilities.
