SNK To Develop For Xbox
Veteran developer SNK is joining the ever-growing developer base of the Xbox.
Posted by Chris Barnett - Xbox - UK and Europe

SNK have announced that they plan to bring Metal Slug 3 and SNK Vs Capcom SVC Classic to the Xbox. This is great news for all Xbox owners as the support for 2D games has so far been quite limited.

Famed for their 2D action and pixel-perfect gameplay, SNK games have a unique feel that is often associated with hard core gamers. Anyone who has played any of their fighting or Metal Slug games will be lapping up this announcement with great respect.

An extra special point to note is that the SNK Vs Capcom SVC Chaos will be compatible with Xbox Live. This really rubs the salt into the wounds of the PlayStation 2 as this will offer a unique angle to gamers wanting the ultimate 2D fighting game (although there are special anniversary versions of Street Fighter 2 coming soon, they will not boast a multi-national multi-player ability).

We will bring you the information regarding these two great games as soon as we get it (we already know they are great from playing their parent games).
