Battle the Evil shapshifting sorcerer Aku and guide his one nemesis in his fight to return to his own time to remove the Shadow of Aku!

Samurai Jack has got to be one of the more inventive cartoons of recent years and now finally a game based around the show is charging over the horizon.

Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku, parallels the series in that the hero Jack, the only being capable of defeating the evil shape-shifting sorcerer Aku, by using the mystical sword bequeathed to him by his father, is trying to return to the past he was flung from and thus vanquish the villain once and for all.

Now if only half of what has been promised is delivered then this is likely to be one of the more impressive show tie-ins this year. All of Jack's signature moves are to be included in their full katana slicing majesty, the original voice talent have also added their distinctive flavour ('Fooolish Sam-oo-rai' anyone?) as has the composer and creator. All in a neat bundle of action, puzzles and quests.

No release date as yet but expect it on all major platforms.
