Microsoft have just announced that your sleepless nights could soon be rewarded with free cash and some great prizes in the Xbox Live Giveaway. Starting from 1 - 14 March 2004, Microsoft are giving European Xbox Live gamers the chance to win daily cash prizes and limited edition goody bags worth a massive €330,000 (£222,618 GBP) . For your chance to win, all you need to do is to play any Xbox Live enabled game on the Xbox Live service between 00.01hrs CET on Monday 1st March and 24.00hrs CET Saturday 14th March. Microsoft will then choose 36 random Gamertags each day, and the daily star prize is a massive cheque for €1,000 (£675 GBP). And 35 lucky runners up each day will each win a stylish black and green Xbox courier bag - containing ten Xbox Live games including Project Gotham Racing 2 and Topspin, an Xbox Controller 'S' plus a limited edition Xbox T-shirt, for a combined prize value of €650 (£440 GBP) per bag.
Winning Gamertags will be posted regularly on Xbox.com throughout the two week period and winners will also be notified by e-mail. The participating countries in the Xbox Live Giveaway are, the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and Finland.
