Whiplash on Friday
Crystal Dynamic's new character-based action game is out for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox this Friday.

This Friday will see the release of Crystal Dynamic's new action game, Whiplash, starring Spanx and Redmond, a shackled animal duo on a mission to escape and sabotage an evil animal product-testing corporation. Whiplash promises to provide a groundbreaking approach to the character-based action genre, which will combine a unique 'chain' feature along side an in-depth enemy and environment interaction and lashings of slapsitck humour. Playing as Spanx, you will use Redmond (much to his dismay), as your tool and weapon to not only escape, but also to free other enslaved animals and bankrupt the corporation by destroying their property. Players will be able to utilise Redmond in many humorous ways such as 'Hare Clog' - clog a toilet with Redmond creating a foul flood to ward off enemies, 'Flaming Fur Ball' - ignite Redmond to scorch attackers and 'Toxic Bunny' - marinate Redmond in toxic waste to poison your foes.

Whiplash is set in a ultra high-tech product testing facility, owned by a greedy mega-corporation where questionable experiments are conducted on animals. And as a result of the extensive electric-shock testing, Spanx is a loose cannon with a crazy streak, while Redmond is a smart-aleck rabbit who has been the subject of some embarrassing cosmetics testing. So players must try to help them escape the lab, there's one problem however - they're both chained together!
