Dare you brave the EverQuest?
Become a Champion of Norrath and tame the world before the world you know.

Set many hundred years before the time of the current EverQuest game on the PC, Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest, offers at least a hundred hours of gameplay and bucket loads of battles.

It is up to you to stride forth from the City of Faydwer into the wild places of Norrath where your skill with blade and bow and spell and staff will determine the fate of the world as you and up to three friends confront the horde of evil orcs and goblins.

Sony claims that no prior knowledge of the EverQuest Universe is needed, much like the Baldur's Gate Games required no knowledge of D&D to play, they also have lined up the use of the multi-tap to allow four buddies to play at the same time on one screen and the aforementioned online gaming, with the bonus of no monthly subscription charges. Other goodies are five different classes, totally customisable characters, literally thousands of items and artefacts to play around with, which can be augmented by combining them together into new magical items. In terms of levels there are fifty to wade through along with non-linear side quests attached, all taking place in interactive 3D environments which are expected to push the PS2 graphics set to the limit, with potentially 40 characters in battle at once.
