Empire and developers Supersonic have just released some new screens of their top down racing game that pits up to four players against each other in a gladiatorial racing battle extravaganza. Gamers will be able to compete over 13 challenging and diverse environments using whatever means necessary to batter and bruise your opponents into submission, and cross the line first. Mashed will also feature a huge arsenal of weapons that will cause absolute carnage and send your friends to a humiliating defeat!
And if that was not enough, defeated opponents will be able to sit back and target you or other remaining drivers with deadly missile air strikes at their leisure. But whether they target the race leader or decide to enjoy some satisfying revenge is another matter entirely...
Mashed will feature racing for 4 players at one time with a play 'all-against-all' or collaborate with friends in the team mode. The game will include 13 tracks to race on including training ovals, sandy deserts in Egypt, icy mountains and twisting forests. But its up to you to choose the best car for the terrain you are racing on. Mashed will let you loose with nine hi-tech weapons to pick up and unleash on your rivals including machine guns, mortars, missiles, shotguns, oil slicks, flamethrowers, mines, barrel bombs and blinding flares.
We will have much more on Mashed before its scheduled release this coming June, but until then we have these new screens for you.
