That's right Dragons are on the menu at Square Enix as they begin to rev up for the release of their next RPG based game, Drakengard, where hero Kyme is forced to make a decision which will decide the fate of that which he holds dear. War has begun between the Alliance and the former member, the Empire for control of their world, Kyme a warrior for the alliance receives word that his armies and his castle, complete with his sister inside are under attack. Badly wounded in the rescue he turns to the one recourse to remain alive, a dragon pact where he sacrifices a part of himself and exchanges hearts with the proud, mighty beast. Now it is time for the Empire to feel a dragons wrath. With three distinct ways to play, on the back of a dragon or afoot with a weapon of destruction, Drakengard aims to be diverse in height as well as depth and an element of growth. Where you and your flying stead grow and become more powerful with experience. With input from those who helped create the Final Fantasy series and the recent Resident Evil: Code Veronica game this looks to be in safe hands. Out next month.
