Demon Stone Screens
All hells have broken loose and the demon hosts are once more at each others throats, with all of Faerūn caught in the middle.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

Since Baldurs Gate, released almost six years ago, and its subsequent games the world of Toril, the Forgotten Realms have done very, very well. Solid, RPG style games.

Now we see something new, a more action orientated game based around that popular setting. Now from those who brought us the wonderful Two Towers game have set their sights on delivering a real time combat fest to us, replete with figures from the game world that many know.

Centred around the accidental intrusion by the party into the conflicts of demons, releasing the foul being once more into the world and the then subsequent attempts to restore the world to how it was is the core, with you controlling one party member at a time, with AI support to aid you.

Indeed the AI is expected to be one of the strongest features of the game, with party member taking an active and intelligent approach to combat, aiding the player character with co-ordinated tactics. It is up to you to pick your best strength for that situation.

As a last final note, two of the best known figures form the world are rumoured to be in the game, the Drow Drizzt Do'Urden and the terrifyingly powerful mage, Kelben 'Blackstaff' Arunsun.

Scheduled for this Autumn.
