Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe It has been about a year since LucasArts released their MMPOG Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, since then a whole bundle of people have been frothing madly about it. Now it has been announced that Sony are elbow deep into the latest expansion for the game and it is set to change the whole arena of play as for the first time it takes players into the space lanes. Star Wars: Jump to Lightspeed has been touted as offering the biggest change to date in the gameplay, with the introduction of 15 new space faring vehicles, ranging from TIE fighters and X-Wings to the more exciting Stock Light Freighters. Options to team up and do battle against faction pilots or AI opponents are expected as are the addition of 10 space sectors to explore and get space dusted in, with specific missions to nebulae and asteroid fields, oh and two new customisable races. Whilst expected in the Autumn, more details are likely to be revealed at this years E3. Chris Snook
