Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox - UK and Europe Rumours began about this time last year that a sequel was in the works for a console based successor to the Arcade classic Outrun. A few months later and the first screenshots came to light, then nothing. Nowt, not a bean, zero. Until now that is. Sega have announced that this years E3 in may will be the title's debut in LA and that it will be exclusive to the XBox so enabling all sorts of fun details. There is to be XBox Live support, a single player mission mode, unlockable elements and it is expected to replicate the feel of the original, with hopefully a thumpingly good soundtrack. Plus as a bonus we have managed to snag a few more screenshots for your delectation. Expected sometime later this year.
