Merlin bestrides the land, fair Camelot is a beacon to all and the king, Arthur Pendragon sits upon the throne. Myth and legend are here once more.

Konami are once again gaining a reputation for producing nifty games that fill gaps in various markets and then expand on out bringing themselves to a wider audience. Now they have secured the licence to the new King Arthur film that is in production.

Now you get to live the legend as you play Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot, three of the five playable characters, all drawn - along with the rest of the world - in superb photo-realistic details that are best shown off in the seamless cut scenes that litter the gameplay.

All this is bolstered by motion captured action that mirrors the plot of the film as close as it is possible to get, unlockable combo's, upgrades and a two player co-op mode.

Due out later this year.
