19th May 2004:

Once again mechs are the method of choice in saving the world from more doom than you can shake a stick at in Ex Zeus.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

There is something about stomping about in thirty or so foot tall robots. The feeling of doing imense amounts of damage as you wade through the masses of anything that gets in the way.

Or in the case of Ex Zeus taking back the planet form the invading hoards that have decimated the population from their asteroid base, high in orbit. There is a rumour that some being or beings called the Diadora as the world of 2102 is very different as humanity lurks beneath the surface waiting to counter-attack.

Based on the original coin-op there are three mechs available, the distinclty average mech, the fast but lightly shielded mech and the slow but well shielded mech. There are an assortment of enemies, five bosses and a full 3D rendered environment, split over potentially six levels all this with bonuses and an original soundtrack to get your fingers a tapping.

Due out this July.
