Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe It has been ten years since the original Sony PlayStation went on sale. Ten years. Since then, the machine which has managed to reduce the once mighty Nintendo into a handheld version of itself has continued to sell, despite the emergence of its successor, the PlayStation 2. It is still selling too, in fact Sony have announced that the original PSx has notched up a staggering one-hundred million units sold, that's an average rate of ten million a year and it des appear that this will continue. Oh and those figures do not contain the seventy or o million PS2's sold so far, which in itself a phenomenal achievement. Now here is to the PSP. Chris Snook
