One ping to bind them
Some nice fellow in a pointy hat and carrying a staff just dropped of a few screens, muttering something about one ping to rule them all.

Online based games are gaining in popularity with a fair number expected to debut in the next few months. One of which is Middle Earth Online which I am sure no one who has not been on a three year holiday to Jupiter will be surprised to learn is based on JRR Tolkien's mythos.

Development has been ongoing for a while now and some of the expected features are quite tasty indeed. One such is the grouping, where up to nine characters can band together to form a 'fellowship' as they go forth smiting trolls, rogue Ents and getting mulched by Nazgul. Unusually you can even marry other characters and begin a family by adopting further characters. All in your appropriately furnished house.

MEO is expected to be released this September onwards.
