Posted by Marc Hull - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Although Red Faction 2 is the sequel to one of the best PC and PS2 games of last year, Volition have taken some large steps since the original game was released. Instead of going through the game alone, you play as a member of a six-man squad, which will accompany you through certain missions. Each playable character has different skills, including a demolitions expert, sniper and stealth operative. The game will also feature more controllable vehicles, such as a tank, hovercraft and submarine, and expect multiple boss battles to occur throughout the single-player mode this time! It seems that Red Faction 2 is really taking a major leap from its predecessor, and, if these screenshots are anything to go by, it's coming along very well! We hope to have more information on this hot title very soon.
