Half-Life arrests
Nine months on and the first shakedowns are happening regarding the code theft.
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

It has been nine, long hard months since the announcement that Half-Life 2 was going to be delayed from the expected September 2003 release date. A month later came the revelation that the Valve site had been infiltrated and data stolen, possibly via flaws in Outlook.

Since then the team at Valve have been recoding those parts that have been purloined.

Now it has emerged that a number of arrests in the theft case have been made but the FBI are keeping tight lipped over exactly who they have fingered as the thieves but it is suspected that they may be related to the raids made in January.

Though no date has been given for the release of HL2, it is expected to be before the end of the year.
