With the release date for Chaos League looming like a squat Orcish Linebacker, it was announced today that the multiplayer demo has been released to the general public via a number of sites.
A mixture of US Football on steroids, a battlefield and a spellslinger duelling arena, Chaos League is like no other sports sim.
Now the publishers, Digital Jesters have added in another neat touch, an online tournament, available to those who have downloaded the demo, where you battle against other players over the course of three weeks, starting on the 5th of July. All in the name of seeing who can cause more mayhem, more carnage and more devastation than any other. As a sweet bonus there are also two thousand quids worth of prices, rumoured to include graphics cards amongst others and of course the prestige of being the first ever Chaos League grand champion.
The demo itself has only three of the ten races selectable, Humans, Barbarians and Undead and is multi-player only but will give a flavour for all the other features, such as the seventy or so team positions, the 170 odd spells, to buff, debuff and kaboom with and an experience based system to gain more powerful spells. All from the Publishers of pro Rugby Manager.
Due out this August, priced £29.99.
