Barely a week after England plummet out of Euro 2004 there is an announcement that will make the thumbs of all footy watching gamers go all tingly with excitement.
Pro Evolution Soccer
is back and slicker, sweeter and more feature filled than before.
Built on that which made its predecessors such huge hits yet innovating as well PES4 is a refinement and an expansion of the series. The intuitive controls are there as is the realistic movement, movement which has now been individualised - like much of the teams - to be more unique per player on screen, offering an even more natural flow to the game.
Bolstered are the trademark set-piece moves, with more variety and more choices, including options for those indirect free kicks awarded by the onscreen referee. Another first for the series. With more game modes and options to cram a team full of new moves and tactics PES4 is already taking the eye as the next step in football games.
Due out before Christmas for PS3, XBox and PC-DVD.
