Posted by John Grothier - PlayStation 2,Xbox,GameCube,PC,Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe This coming Friday will see the European release of Spider-Man 2 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Game Cube, PC and also a special Game Boy Advance version of the game. Based on Sony Pictures movie, Spider-Man 2, players will experience what it's like to be one of the world's most celebrated Super Heroes, Spider-Man. Players can swing, sling, dive, jump and scale the heights of Manhattan to protect the innocent, in a living city with Super Villains, common criminals, vehicles, trains and helicopters. Spider-Man 2 has been liked to the Grand Theft Auto series - because of the living breathing city style of gameplay. Although there are many missions to perform as Spider-Man, this new title will allow gamers freedom to explore New York and all its familiar buildings and landmarks. This freedom of movement will allow Spider-Man to help the helpless, by solving crimes and performing good deeds for the good people of Manhattan, and in doing so he will receive some useful hero points. Spider-Man 2 is already getting some great reviews from across the pond and we hope that the PAL version of Spider-Man 2 will be live up to our expectations. One thing is for certain, this new take on the super-hero game is definitely a step in the right direction. Look out for a full review of Spider-Man 2 on Silicon Fusion very soon.
