Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe It has been a week for going underground as Activision have announced that the latest entry into the skater market is to be, unsurprisingly, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 or THUG2 as it seems to be referred to. New features include the World Destruction Tour, where two teams are lead by Bam Margera and the Hawk himself as basically they prove who is the bigger mischief maker in various cities. There is a further team play mode, with up to twenty different skaterdudes to pick from including a guest appearance by Ben Franklin. Also overhauled is the control method, where you now get the chance to use a slow mo focus system to perfect those oh so critical grinds and gain as much air as possible. Plus you can now board about on a Segway, Hot-Dog stands and other less than sane modes of transport, hurling tomatoes if you wish whilst you are at it. Lastly there is the addition of 'Classic' mode where you recreate Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with such things as Secret Tape and S-K-A-T-E. or you can do them on the all new THUG2 levels.
