26th July 2004:
Lenin down the law
The KGB are after you and the world has gone mad as the Cold War drops a few degrees.
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

The 1980's saw the culmination in a fifty year long conflict, where arguably the world came very close to becoming a toastie crisp.

Now Cold War: Behind the Iron Curtain gives you a chance to alter history and help end the isolation of the 'Evil Empire'. You play Matt Carter, a freelance journo, who a short twelve hours after arriving to cover a story finds himself in the hell that is the KGB prison cells of Ljubljanka. Stripped of everything he must piece together why he has had seven shades beaten out of him and ultimately how to stop a change in the government of the U.S.S.R. that would make the Cold War enter meltdown.

Spread over 23 non-linear levels, sprinkled around various Chernobyl, Lenin's Tomb and the KGB's prisons to name a few, you must locate find a way to escape and foil the dastardly plans of the Anti-Glasnost plotters.

Due out this winter.
