They are legends in their own right, battling to prevent the machinations of a misguided foe. They are the X-Men.

The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, led by the powerful Magnus Lensherr, known by many as Magneto - the Master of Magnetism - are once more poised to create the dominance of 'Homo Superior', the Mutants over poor old man. The only group who can stop him are the X-Men: Legends

Scripted by former comic version writers over time as the story grows so will the characters. Controlling four out of a possible twelve X-Men at any one time, you can hot-swap between characters, even during a battle, in order to use the mutant who has the right tools for the job, be it Cyclops with his Optic Blasts, Storm with her command of the Weather or the nigh on indestructible Wolverine, all fury and sarcasm. With the option to also direct allies' actions there is always a solution to a puzzle.

With each victory, your men become better equipped, unlock new costumes, skills and characters as they gird themselves for the next struggle. Almost uniquely there is a Multi-Player Story Mode, where you each pick two of the X-Men to form a squad of true diversity. Also included is a Skirmish mode where you can have head-to-heads with single characters or a full on royal rumble as each side takes on the other.

Due out this October.
