2nd August 2004:
By War's Early Light
Ten thousand years is a long time to hold a grudge, now it is rematch time.
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

It has been ten millennia since the forces for Chaos came and ended the Golden Age of Mankind with their acts of treason and dissent.

Since then the battle lines have been drawn, skirmishes have illuminate the heavens and great wars have been fought, won and lost. Now four races strive to rule and only once can do so. Now it is the Dawn of War

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is what looks like a combo of RTS and third person viewpoints as you go all out to mangle your opponents as cinematic quality melee and ranged combat takes place. The kernel of the game is the single player campaign mode which should read like a tale of treachery, conspiracy and conflict, based on the best selling table-top war game by Games workshop.

Slotted in alongside this are Multiplayer options for LAN and internet play with 7 buddies or complete strangers, a slimmed down more front line focused resource system and the prospect f learning to fight as one of the four races offered.

Due out next month, may you Serve the Emperor Well.
