Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2,Xbox,PC - UK and Europe Toby Gard, he who kick started the Tomb Raider phenomenon with the original game is, after a number of sequels and two films later, back to have another crack at the pneumatic, digital heroine. It has been seven years since Gard decided to leave and pursue his own creations, five of those years taken up with crafting the technically impressive but at times frustrating Galleon, seen by many as the most fluid game of it's type. Eidos announced that he had joined the US development studio Crystal Dynamics as one of the Senior Designers working on Tomb Raider VII. Presumably to bring in some of the flair and grace that characterised Galleon. A spokesperson from Eidos was quoted as saying, "As the creator of the Lara Croft character, he brings a unique perspective to the development process,".
