Nokia today decided to reveal some of its closely-guarded sales figures to the world, in the form of an announcement made at London's EGN show. While it's no secret that the N-Gage has suffered from a few ups and downs during its lifetime, the Finnish company has always been hesitant to release solid figures, but now we can confirm that at least a million units of the console have been shipped worldwide.
Such a simple story shouldn't cause much confusion, but some sites are already stating that a million N-Gage's have been sold. While this figure may be quite close, the official press release only confirms the number shipped, which includes those in shops waiting to be sold (which, considering you can get hold of the console in most high-street phone shops, is probably a fair few). Anyway, it's good news for Nokia either way, and we hope to clear things up a bit when we meet them tomorrow at the show.
