It must be bad enough growing up and going to school in the US. After all if the television shows are to be believed you can burst into song at any moment, wind up trying to stake a Vampire, have Billy Connolly as a teacher or horrors of horrors, Arnie as your Kindergarten tutor. Now Zombies attack!
Obscure is set in a high school in some American town where many creepy things have been going on recently. Now a group of five disparate students are trapped in a near lightless campus, surrounded by terrors of the night and the only people they can rely on are themselves.
Gameplay is totally co-operative, you can switch between any of the five characters, useful for when you miss something as one, another may pick it up. There is a tactical element in that the marauding gribblies do not like light, a quick burst of a torch beam or a smashed window could be life savers. Plus an assortment of puzzles, do you know how to wire a fuse box to restore some light?
Plus music videos, concept art and a making of directory as unlockable content.
Due out October 1st
