14th September 2004:
Terrace Forming
Ah the great English sport of booting a pigs bladder around an oblong field is back.
Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox,PlayStation 2,PC - UK and Europe

The beautiful game. The sound of leather on wood as the post gets clobbered by yet another misdirected shot at goal. The agony as your favourite team sinks faster than the Titanic towards relegation.

Coming off the Subs bench is Club Football 2005 by the Codemasters, with a new fitness regimen and a set of nice new moves they look to have come up with a good shot at goal.

CF2005 is not just a single game, there are team specific editions, with the PC gaining its first suite of clubs this year and both the PS2 and Xbox are getting significant boosts to their team rosters.

With up to 8 players taking each other on, the new player trigger system which they claim will improve response times between on and off screen, a career mode - mould and guide your player to the peak of his game and a whole swathe of real skills to display add to the over all package.

Due out next month.
