Once again super spy and stealth meister Sam Fisher is called upon to save the world. Except he may be stuck in a jam.

It was announced today that the third instalment in the adventures of Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, will be delayed on all formats until March next year.

It was expected that Chaos Theory would appear on the PC and Xbox initially, probably this November, with the other formats dribbling in behind sometime next year - almost guaranteeing that it would be in the reckoning for the Christmas number one slot.

Now UbiSoft have canned that plan and presented the new date, with the expectation that it will allow all the platforms to shine and not just leave the rest as almost rans.

Currently touted as being the most heavily stealth reliant of the series with bold new graphics, sleek new moves and another strong story to follow, SC: CT may well be worth the wait.
